    ... is dead.

I mean, is it really necessary for every toy company to have a Kubrick line?

It was exciting a couple of years ago to see these companies coming up with all new ideas, and finding their niche. But now the industry is just turning into one big stinky, steamy, smelly incestuous pile of shit!

So we have Kubricks, Mini-mates, Mez-Itz, Geoms, and now Palz? WTF?

Why don't companies like Palisades just stick to what they're good at, and focus on that?

probably because most companies arent out to please fans - they're out to make money, and lots of it, from the general mass media

again, i said 'most'. every now and then a company will think of the fans.

but if something is selling like hotcakes, go for it

I hope you are not dissing Kubrick's. Medicom is the very definition of the word originality.

And I'm well aware that these companies are in it for the money. I mean, why else would they be in business?

I'd just rather see them focusing on innovative projects, instead of same-old, same-old.

Palisades busts kick complete ass. They should spend more time and licensing cash on those, and leave the other stuff to the companies that specialize in it.
